On the Water
Where the Water Is
In Minnesota, there is water everywhere! While you are in Carver County, there are lots of ways to enjoy the water. The county has 115 lakes, including Lake Waconia, the second largest lake in the Twin Cities. Visit the Minnesota River, The Crow River, or one of many creeks, streams, and wetlands located here.
You’ll find beaches, fishing piers, boat launches, and waterfront trails so you can spend a day swimming, fishing, boating, paddleboarding, kiteboarding, or just taking in beautiful waterfront views.
