Hit The Trail
Once called the “Big Woods,” this area used to be filled with hardwood forests and woodlands. While some of the woods are gone, there are still plenty of places to experience the beauty of old-growth forests here in Carver County. Explore parks and preserves where trails wind through forests of maple, oak, poplar, and pine. There are also extensive urban trail systems where you can walk, bike, run or skate through cities where you can stop to grab a bite or visit a local brewery to sample something new.
